This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Men's Cricket Team as a Psychologist. As part of the support staff, you will work closely with players, coaches, and other team members to deliver psychological services to world-class athletes.
As a key member of the Performance Services team, your role will be pivotal in supporting player performance, mental health, and fostering a high-performing team environment. You will work collaboratively with senior players and team management to integrate psychological principles into training and competition strategies.
Responsibilities:- Deliver performance psychology and mental health support to elite athletes
- Develop and implement programs to enhance athlete well-being and performance
- Work collaboratively with the Performance Services team and senior players to achieve team goals
- Registration as a psychologist with the relevant professional body
- At least 5 years' experience working in elite sports or a similar field
- Experience working with athletes at a national or international level
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Opportunity to work with a world-class sporting organization
