Cricket Australia seeks a highly skilled Psychologist to join the support staff of the Australian Men's Cricket Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and wellbeing of one of the world's most iconic sporting teams.

The successful candidate will be embedded within the high-performance environment, working closely with players, coaches, and support staff to deliver psychological services to our world-class, elite athletes.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting performance, mental health, and fostering a high-performing team environment. Responsibilities include delivering performance psychology and mental health support for the players and working collaboratively with Team Management and Senior Players to integrate psychological principles into training, competition, and the wider team environment.

Our ideal candidate is a registered psychologist with significant experience in elite sport, who thrives working in elite team environments. The successful candidate should be confident in their ability while leading with empathy, enjoy developing excellent working relationships with players and staff, and work as one part of a larger supportive and skilled team in assisting athletes' wellbeing and performance.

We seek candidates with current AHPRA registration as a psychologist and at least 5 years' experience working with elite athletes. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated competency in supporting athletes regarding their performance and mental health. Experience working with elite athletes or teams is important but not limited to cricket.

Requirements:
  • A registered psychologist with significant experience in elite sport
  • Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist
  • At least 5 years' experience working with elite athletes
