About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Lovedale Bar + Grill, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient and friendly service to all guests and locals
  • Liaise with team members to maintain venue standards and ensure all mise-en-place is completed prior to opening
  • Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, and utensils
  • Support and motivate the operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Ensure revenue for the shift is accurately accounted for and daily activities are balanced

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth cocktail knowledge
  • Previous leadership or supervisorial experience within a fine dining or premium service offering venue
  • Ability to onboard new colleagues and maintain high standards of customer service
  • Full knowledge of and practice of all established hotel occupational health and safety guidelines (WH&S)
