Technical Machine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Machine Specialist to join our Brandt Product Support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our Service Departments to solve customer machine issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage technical assistance requests from Brandt Service Departments using Case Contact Management System (CCMS) software.
- Develop Brandt Technical Assistance Center (BTAC) Technical Solutions.
- Identify emerging issues in the field that can generate additional revenue.
- Develop repair procedures for emerging issues, product improvements, and warranty work to increase technician efficiencies and revenue.
- Identify Relife and sales opportunities.
- Create and maintain the Technical Solution database.
- Utilize John Deere Service Advisor Remote.
- Monitor alerts received from machines through various software platforms.
- Work closely with Machine Monitoring, Brandt Service times, and Proactive Maintenance teams to address equipment abnormalities, quote more efficiently, and drive revenue opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the appropriate actions to the Service Departments via telephone, e-mail, or ticketing system.
- Follow up on previous recommendations to ensure problem resolution and identify learning opportunities.
- Provide coverage during peak times for Machine Monitoring Specialists.
- Qualified heavy-duty technician certificate or equivalent work experience in the industry.
- Minimum 5 years service experience recommended.
- Strong background in computer applications and analytics.
- Knowledge of Agriculture equipment & dealership service departments.
- Ability to filter and correlate different data sources to create an accurate recommendation.
- Knowledge of machine application, design, functionality, and understanding the environmental effect on equipment performance.
- Understand effective inspection processes and equipment lifecycle planning.
- Travel may be required.
