Event Coordinator Role Overview

The primary objective of the Event Coordinator is to oversee end-to-end event logistics, collaborate with senior event planners, verify speaker and sponsor participation, manage invitation processes, and execute events both on-site and online.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working within an Association or Membership Body as an Event Coordinator. A proven track record in organizing and delivering corporate events for members is crucial for this role.

  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with senior executives and their teams across all sectors including government, business, academia, and NFP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, innovation, and ability to adapt.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and administrative skills.
  • Experience in meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate event details, ensuring seamless execution.
  2. Collaborate with senior event planners to achieve shared goals.
  3. Verify speaker and sponsor participation, confirming their involvement.
  4. Manage invitation processes, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  5. Execute events both on-site and online, guaranteeing a high-quality experience.
