Job Title: Strategic Data Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data strategies to support Defence objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on data governance, analytics, and capability management.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Lead a team of professionals in delivering business plans, strategies, and priorities.

About the Role:

The Data Division is a hub for generating insights from data and making informed decisions. As a Strategic Data Leader, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data strategies that support Defence objectives.

You will work collaboratively with Defence's Groups and Services, across Government, and with international partners to ensure that data use is strategy-led and addresses key challenges facing Defence.

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in diverse and complex environments.
  • Ability to build relationships in a diverse and complex environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on enabling Joint Warfighting and Enterprise Performance.
