Job Opportunity:

The Customer Service Product Trainer is a pivotal role within our organisation, focusing on the development and delivery of high-quality training programs for field service technicians and customer support teams.

This position plays a crucial part in ensuring consistent, accurate, and up-to-date product knowledge and technical capability across all service channels.

To achieve this, you will work closely with the technical support team to stay informed about new products and service topics, creating engaging training experiences through classroom sessions, virtual learning, hands-on product workshops, and digital resources.

Your adaptability in communication style and content delivery will cater to both highly technical service technicians and non-technical call centre staff.

This position requires regular interstate travel and occasional international travel, supporting training needs across Australia, New Zealand, and selected offshore service locations.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and a natural curiosity for all things mechanical and electrical.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • A proven track record in training or product support roles, preferably in the appliance or service industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in appliances or related technologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training for non-technical staff.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing schedules, and leading sessions both in-person and online.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), instructional design tools, and digital content creation.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or earlier) desirable
  • Trade qualification or hands-on technical background desirable
