We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Basic and Clinical Sciences. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the future of our medical program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Basic and Clinical Sciences domain in the Fremantle MD Program, developing innovative teaching methods and contributing to curriculum review and renewal.
- Collaborate with the assessment team on formative, summative, and continuous assessments, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes for our students.
- Liaise with Biomedical Sciences and other related programs at The University of Notre Dame Australia, fostering strong relationships and collaborations.
- Represent the Basic and Clinical Sciences domain on committees and teach in the MD or other programs as needed, promoting excellence in education and research.
- Supervise and conduct relevant research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Adhere to University policies, procedures, and additional duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
- Possess a PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing, with a strong track record of academic excellence in teaching, research, or professional contributions.
- Experience teaching at Masters level or in medical, health, or professional practice education, with a demonstrated ability to lead and innovate in educational initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership in major educational initiatives and enhancements at school/division and university levels, with a strong commitment to staff development and mentorship.
- Record of peer-reviewed publications and citations in top educational journals, with a recognized authority or national reputation in the discipline.
- Leadership in digital pedagogical enhancements, governance, and management of the school, with significant external engagement and collaboration.
