About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Media Advisor to join our team on a short-term assignment. As a Communications and Media Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and delivering content and strategic communications advice across various channels to inform and increase engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage content for intranet, emails, newsletters, video, images, presentations, briefs, speeches, and regular staff communication.
  • Prepare and review communications collateral, including messaging, digital content, promotional material, staging, and schedules.
  • Assist in monitoring, moderating, and developing content for online responses on social media and establish a proactive media online presence.
  • Prepare media releases, publicity packages, and media kits to support events, partnerships, and sponsorships.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in a Corporate Communications or Media role.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing high-quality communications collateral.
  • Knowledge of current social media and digital communication tools, rules, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong project management and publications delivery, engaging stakeholders, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Exceptional time management skills, managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office Suite.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, plus super, depending on experience. The assignment duration is up to 3 months, with an immediate start. The Melbourne CBD location provides a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
