Our Residential Care Worker opportunity is based in Harkness within our Two Bed Emergency Response Homes Program. Working closely with the team, you will ensure the highest quality care and support for residents.

The role plays a vital part in daily operations, responding to emotional and functional needs of residents, and supporting them in developing their personal skills and abilities. This includes participating in individualised plans, providing daily living assistance, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

You will work closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services to vulnerable young people. The unit provides a supportive and therapeutic environment, enabling residents to develop essential life skills and become independent.

This role involves:

  • Developing individualised plans to meet the unique needs of each resident;
  • Providing daily living assistance, including personal care and domestic duties;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to crisis situations and supporting residents during challenging times;
  • Working collaboratively with the TBER Team Leader and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents;
  • Participating in regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
