Position based at La Trobe University - Bendigo Campus
Permanent Full-Time role - 38 hours per week
Offer support to our residents with the goal of enhancing student wellbeing

The Role
As the Residential Life Coordinator, you will work with a team to build and nurture residential life in a student accommodation environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and support in managing and developing the Residential Life Program
Assisting in designing, developing, implementing, and managing the Community Spirit Program
Providing exceptional service to all stakeholders
Recruiting, training, and managing the Residential Advisor team
Monitoring resident wellbeing
Participating in emergency response during shifts and after hours as required
The successful candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, with after-hours shifts.
Key Criteria
Unrestricted work rights in Australia
Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children's Check
Wellbeing and mental health literacy
Experience in managing budgets and planning events
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse backgrounds
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to develop and deliver engaging programs and events
First Aid certification
Research skills for developing evidence-based programs
Strong time management skills, especially during peak periods
