About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Specialist to join our team at Newy Tech People. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in evaluating equipment and systems to ensure they meet relevant machinery and safety standards for a wide range of clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate equipment and systems to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards
- Support clients in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety-related systems
- Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate technical challenges and risks
- Design, maintain, or operate industrial control systems, industrial machinery, and mining or processing plant and equipment

About You
To be successful in this role, you will hold either an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree and bring prior experience in risk and function safety, ideally holding TÜV or equivalent qualifications. You will also have experience designing, maintaining, or operating industrial control systems, industrial machinery, and mining or processing plant and equipment.
