About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Maintenance Systems Solutions. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and updating master data records related to suppliers, products, inventory, and pricing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to utilize their experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to manage supply and demand requirements, ensuring optimal inventory levels.

The successful candidate will have the ability to coordinate internal workflows and manage supplier relationships, working closely with the Warehouse Team to assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring forecasts, and managing safety stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update master data records related to suppliers, products, inventory, and pricing.
  • Coordinate internal workflow for the creation and management of supplier master data.
  • Utilize the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to manage supply and demand requirements, including economic order quantities, supplier lead times, and safety stock levels.
  • Plan, place, and administer orders with suppliers, managing dates based on supplier acknowledgments and business requirements.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Team to assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring forecasts, and managing safety stock.

About You

To be successful, you will need experience in the following:

  • Experience as an Inventory Planner in the Mining industry.
  • Experience with Shutdown and Fixed Plant processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP for managing supply chain and inventory processes.
  • Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and coordinate internal workflows.
  • You must have Australian Working Rights for this role.
