Facilities Maintenance Officer

This is a role that requires a proactive and versatile individual to perform routine inspections and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in building or facilities maintenance, with solid trade knowledge and general maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and minor repairs
  • Support the setup of events and seasonal displays
  • Maintain mechanical plant rooms and equipment
  • Coordinate contractor services
  • Assist in compiling the Annual Fire Safety Statement and preventive maintenance schedules
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • Solid trade knowledge and general maintenance skills
  • Strong understanding of WHS, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing contractors and supervising cleaning staff
  • Excellent communication and reporting ability
  • White Card and driver's licence preferred
  • Familiarity with facility management systems is a bonus
