Employment Engagement Specialist

This is a rewarding role where no two days will be the same.

You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by assisting individuals with various barriers to employment find suitable work.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can provide a high level of customer service and engagement to assist those in the community with various barriers to employment to find suitable work.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and a willingness to contribute to a positive culture across all our workplaces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reverse Marketing of identified engaged job ready clients to provide employment opportunities
  • Utilising a variety of methods to actively and regularly engage with job ready clients across region including on or offsite and remote
  • Maintaining up to date and relevant Labour Market Information and develop strategies to support and meet demands of shortage sectors
  • Providing support and advice, to employers on training and ongoing employment support provided from MatchWorks including departmental wage subsidies and incentives

About You:

• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers and relevant agencies

• Ability to assess labour market demand and supply and build strategies to address this

• Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Demonstrated high level professionalism, attention to detail and compliance focused

• Ability to work within stringent KP's and demonstrated experience in exceeding targets

• Proven ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment

• Sound computer literacy and data management skills

• Satisfactory completion of Police Check/s

• Current Drivers Licence

Desirable:

• Qualifications in Employment Services or Marketing would be advantageous

• Solid experience in Employment Services and an understanding of strategies to address barriers to employment

• Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and procedures
