We are currently seeking a highly skilled Community Liaison Officer to assist our Head of Community Relations in developing and implementing community relations strategies that foster strong partnerships and engagement with local stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective community relations strategies that align with our organizational goals
  • Coordinate events and activities that promote community engagement and partnerships, enhancing our reputation and building trust with local stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and government agencies, ensuring open communication and mutual understanding
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Community Relations, preparing reports, presentations, and other materials that meet high standards of quality and professionalism
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to community relations, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, public relations, education) or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of success in community relations or a related field, demonstrating ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
