Loan Operations Specialist

About this role
We are seeking an experienced loan processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential lending and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing loan structures, assisting with borrowing capacity and valuation requests, liaising with lenders and managing escalations, maintaining compliant and well-managed files and outstanding tasks, and providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Review loan submissions and identify potential issues
- Assist with borrowing capacity and valuation requests from lenders
- Liaise with lenders to resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan submissions and outcomes
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of loan applications
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in loan processing or para-broking
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Strong knowledge of residential lending products and lender policy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
