Loan Operations Specialist

As a key contributor to the Corporate Loans Administration team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless workflow management and timely completion of all corporate loans administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and fee invoicing and collections with precision and within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of critical checklists and treasury cash sheets.
  • Prepare remittance applications for corporate loan drawdown disbursements in accordance with established procedures.
  • Generate and monitor CLA reports, general ledger suspense accounts, and interest accrual accounts, resolving outstanding items in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly suspense account reconciliations for the Accounting Department.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with staff to develop more effective processes, minimizing errors.
  • Report and escalate operational risk events promptly.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers and external counterparties, providing exceptional service and professionalism.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Support local, regional, and global change initiatives, projects, and programs as required.

Requirements:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with 1-3 years' experience in an operations role within banking and financial services, preferably in corporate loans, possessing sound knowledge of payments and SWIFT, as well as operational expertise in processes and procedures.

Excellent time management, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential for meeting high-performance standards. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, collaborate effectively, communicate professionally, drive results, lead change, seek continuous improvements, and think strategically.

Applicants should possess a degree or diploma in a relevant field and be flexible to work extended hours during busy periods and remotely when required.
