**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Election Operations Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale election project, ensuring the smooth operation of polling places and the accurate counting of votes.

As an Election Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers to ensure the successful execution of election day operations
  • Managing electoral resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Providing training and support to election staff on electoral procedures and protocols
  • Assisting with the setup and operation of polling places, including the management of ballot boxes and voting systems

**Key Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., politics, public administration) an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination, project management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

**Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
