**About the Role**

The Integration Specialist role is responsible to design, deliver and maintain an ever-increasing level of integration and efficiency between the various systems (current and future) employed by Council.
You can also expect to:
Contribute to the development of the Council’s integration strategy, including standards, core systems and how these are integrated.
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices. Design, development and implementation of data integration solutions and ETL pipelines. Delivering the integration components for technology projects, either via direct involvement or proactive management of vendors. Ongoing management and maintenance of integration solutions and ETL pipelines to ensure that data flows between different systems effectively in both production and nonproduction environments
- . Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration, data flow and system compatibility. Ensure integration products are maintained and patched in a timely manner according to Council patching standard. Lead efforts to ensure non-production environments are regularly updated to maintain parity with production environments. Ensure data is secure during the integration process, safeguarding sensitive information from unauthorised access. Analysis and continuous improvement of the integration system operation and its efficiency to support business functions and deliverables. Ensuring that integration artifacts, including designs, as-built and support documentation are created and well maintained according to Council standards and industry best practice

**About You**

We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven capacity to develop and implement complex integrated solutions, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and manage projects. Proven/Certified Experience with DELL Boomi Proven/Certified Experience (preferable) with Microsoft automation technologies. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
