Austin Health, a major provider of tertiary health services in Melbourne's Northeast, seeks an experienced Perfusion Specialist to join its Operating Suite. As part of the Clinical Perfusion team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting cardiac surgery and other specialties.

About the Role

As a highly skilled Perfusion Specialist, you will operate heart-lung machines, manage ECMO/ECLS systems, insert and monitor intra-aortic balloon pumps, and administer cell-saving and autotransfusion techniques for perfusion-related procedures. You will collaborate closely with Cardiac Surgery, Anaesthesia, and ICU teams to ensure seamless patient care.

You will have opportunities to identify areas for quality improvement and work with the Cardiac Surgery team to develop and implement effective improvement plans.
