About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you'll be responsible for providing nutritious meals that bring joy to our residents. Your passion for food and dedication to exceptional service will make a real difference in the lives of those we care for.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare well-balanced meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Liaise with residents, families, and our care team to ensure that every meal is tailored to meet their individual needs.
  • Support the efficient functioning of our kitchen and catering services.
  • Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to kitchen operations, such as stock management and quality assessments.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cooking for large groups or in a similar environment.
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
