Job Overview

At NRMA Parks & Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Culinary Team Member, you'll play a vital role in bringing our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the Cafe team, Park Manager, and Assistant Manager to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Cook and prepare dishes according to company guidelines and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently high.
  3. Liaise with food service staff and management to ensure seamless kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
  4. Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, adhering to proper storage and handling procedures for food, equipment, utensils, and implements.
  5. Conduct daily temperature checks on fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries, and record assessments as needed.
  6. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning schedules.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or club kitchen, preferably with a commercial cookery certificate.
  2. A solid understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety practices.
  3. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Outstanding customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for guests and colleagues alike.
