Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our hospital as an Orderly. As part of this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a hospitable environment for patients, working collaboratively with the team to support work tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate a positive and supportive environment for all patients
- Work effectively as part of a high-functioning team to achieve common goals
- Provide safe and respectful transportation of patients, communicate clearly and empathetically, and assist with collecting and delivering equipment and supplies between departments/wards
- Prioritise patient safety by ensuring that patient transport equipment is in good working order and being an active member of the emergency response team
- Act as a valued team player by promoting a professional and positive team culture and collaborating with other staff members to create a positive experience for patients
- Demonstrate commitment to professional practice by adhering to hospital policies and procedures, code of conduct, and mandatory education
- Maintain high standards of customer service and respect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- Ability to prioritise and organise work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and in a busy, high-pressure environment
- Adherence to workplace policies and procedures
- Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
