Job Title: Veterinary Nurse - Patient Care CoordinatorDescription:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This role is ideal for an RCVS registered nurse who has excellent patient care skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient admissions: Admit cases, meeting with clients and patients upon arrival to discuss upcoming procedures, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed smoothly and in line with company SOPs.
  • Discharge support: Guide clients through patient care plans during discharge, including medication instructions, rehabilitation techniques, and aftercare details, addressing any questions to ensure they feel confident managing care at home.
  • Client communication: Act as a compassionate point of contact, keeping clients informed on patient treatments and progress, and responding to questions about their pet's care while in hospital.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • RCVS registration as a veterinary nurse.
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
