Job Summary

This role involves performing operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of a plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant hygiene and cleanliness, conducting regular checks and cleaning up spills promptly, supplying tools and equipment as required, operating various equipment, and progressing to more challenging tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of work by adhering to safety protocols and continuous improvement principles.
  • Conduct regular plant checks and respond promptly to any issues that arise.
  • Supply tools and equipment to designated areas as needed.
  • Operate equipment such as crow bars, hammers, and jackhammers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Run fluxes and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Develop skills and knowledge to take on more complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent work ethic and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Australian manual driver's license (current).
  • Mobile equipment tickets (advantageous).
  • Previous industrial experience is highly regarded but not essential.
