Job Overview

As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all structural, services and finishing elements are properly managed and coordinated with secondary subcontractors.

  • Schedule and manage weekly work programs to meet project timelines.

  • Provide clear leadership and direction to site teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

  • Attend and contribute to regular site management meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Oversee the safety of all personnel on site, conducting regular toolbox meetings and ensuring compliance with OH&S processes.

RequirementsEssential Skills & Qualifications

You must have:

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent experience.

  • A proven track record of delivering projects as a head contractor.

  • Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management, site supervision and OH&S systems.

  • The ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with subcontractors and tradespeople.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

It would be beneficial if you had:

  • Experience working in the construction industry, particularly in senior roles.

  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and legislation.

  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
