About the Role

As an HR Advisor at Symal Shared Services, you will play a key role in supporting the development of HR strategies that align with the company's retention and development plans. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and empowering managers and employees to thrive through effective HR practices and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver project HR services that align with business needs
  • Support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with the company's retention and development plans
  • Plan and lead key processes with the business that form part of the HR lifecycle, including employee onboarding and offboarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent management
  • Provide high-level advice, coaching, and support on a broad range of complex ER/IR issues and practices, offering solutions in line with the business's priorities and in accordance with relevant government policy, legislation, and industrial award
Requirements
  • Relevant HR tertiary qualification or significant experience in a HR Advisory role
  • Understanding of Australian legislative framework, NES, Modern Awards, and EBAs
  • Experience conducting investigations
  • Experience with blue-collar workforces highly desirable
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working within the construction or infrastructure industries would be highly regarded
