Skillful and diligent civil engineers are required to deliver essential services in a regional area. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining the region's infrastructure and ensuring the safety of its citizens.

About the Role

This hands-on position involves driving various vehicles and performing labouring tasks associated with civil maintenance and construction. Key responsibilities include operating large machinery, assisting in general construction tasks, and adhering to strict health and safety regulations.

  • Drive articulated or double articulated vehicles exceeding 42.5 GCM;
  • Operate heavy trailers/s combinations and rigid motor vehicles (truck tractor) with loaded masses of 3.5 tonnes or more;
  • Conduct low loader operations with GCMs exceeding 43 tonnes;
  • Perform labouring tasks involving truck operations and manual handling.

You will be based at our depot, where you will work closely with a collaborative and safety-focused team. Continuous improvement and service excellence are highly valued.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid General Safety Induction (Blue Card), a current C class driver's license, and physical fitness for frequent heavy lifting and manual labour. A Heavy Combination licence is also required, along with experience operating trucks, relevant civil construction machinery, and performing general maintenance tasks.
