Transaction Advisory Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Transaction Diligence Manager. This role will involve working with clients on high-profile transactions, providing strategic advice and support throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and a proven track record of managing complex deals. They will be responsible for leading teams, developing relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and participate in SPA advisory engagements for acquisitions or disposals by private equity investors, funds, or strategic corporate clients.
  • Work closely with clients, their bankers, and legal advisers to perform tasks such as cash, debt, and working capital analysis, pricing schedule preparation, and financial reviews of the SPA and Completion Accounts.
  • Advise clients on transaction mechanisms and financial analysis by providing insights on the most suitable purchase price mechanisms, analysing financial results through diligence findings and interviews, and supporting negotiations with clients to agree on detailed and compelling outputs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional services or chartered accounting environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders on multiple engagements in a Transaction Diligence role or mergers and acquisitions environment.
