Project Estimator - Senior Quantity Surveyor

">Job Description

Our business requires an experienced Project Estimator to manage and coordinate the preparation and submission of tenders across various civil projects valued between $1 million and $20 million.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects, including government contracts, road construction, streetscaping, landscaping, car parks, and general civil works.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, prepare and submit tenders, and evaluate/review tender and estimating processes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate tenders, coordinate tender handovers to project teams, and assess and price contract variation orders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 3+ years of management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5 million to $20 million+. They should also have strong commercial acumen, high-level organization and time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven understanding of construction practices.
