About Our Practice :

We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our established and multicultural practice. Our clinic is well-established, with a passionate and large support staff team. We provide a collaborative work environment with full training and support from nurses and our practice manager.

This role is ideal for a passionate, diligent, and vibrant individual who values customer service and patient care, enjoys teamwork, is adaptable, and seeks variety in their role.

The Opportunity :

We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Receptionists seeking permanent part-time work:

  • Work across both general practice and Medicare Urgent Care clinic.
  • Join a friendly, fun, and dedicated team.
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a positive first impression.
  • Book and amend appointments, answer calls, update patient records.
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process payments via EFTPOS, HICAPS, and Medicare.
  • Handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and build relationships with clients in a friendly manner.

You'll be successful if you :

  • Are available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with flexibility to cover additional shifts on weekends and public holidays.
  • Have previous Medical Reception experience (highly regarded).
  • Are familiar with Best Practice software (training provided).
  • Are a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are passionate about customer service and patient care.
  • Are organized and detail-oriented.
  • Build rapport with patients in a cheerful, friendly manner.
