Student Experience Advisor

The role of Student Experience Advisor is a pivotal position within the student journey. As a key contact for domestic students, you will build meaningful connections and provide a welcoming hand across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to students in-person and online regarding administrative aspects of their studies.
  • Be the single point of contact for all non-academic student enquiries, focusing on domestic students.
  • Respond to and resolve student enquiries through case management, maintaining appropriate records.
  • Support the Enrolments Coordinator to process tuition fees and other payments in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Issue student cards and other official student documentation.
  • Maintain the student database with accurate and complete records.
  • Assist in sending locally relevant scheduled, ad-hoc, individual and bulk student communications via the CRM and student management systems.
  • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings.
  • Contribute to achieving domestic student retention targets through proactive student engagement and management.
  • Collaborate with the relevant team to support student engagement events and other formal events.

Education and Skills:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in student services within a higher education environment.
  • Experience with student management systems, learning management systems, and student service systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Diploma qualification or higher is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across diverse student, staff, and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise to complete responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Cross-cultural awareness.
