Student Experience CoordinatorJob Description

The Student Experience Coordinator plays a vital role in contributing to a high-quality student experience by providing efficient and effective administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engaging campus events, fostering a positive and inclusive student experience, and developing strategies to enhance student engagement.

This multifaceted position requires a proactive, organized, and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a positive and supportive experience for students and be able to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance student engagement and build a strong sense of community on campus
  • Planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of campus events and activities aimed at enhancing the student experience, fostering engagement, and promoting the university's profile
  • Managing all logistical aspects of events, including venue booking, catering, AV requirements, marketing and promotion, registration, and on-site coordination
  • Assisting with student administration, including enrolment processes, fee enquiries, managing student records, and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential qualifications include:

  • Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience in student administration, event management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality administrative support and customer service in a student-focused environment
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute successful events and activities
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
