Job Description

The role of a Service Ambassador is pivotal in creating a memorable experience for guests across the dining venue.

This position ensures seamless management of guest reservations, welcomes and seats guests with grace, and upholds the highest standards of personalised service.

The Service Ambassador plays a crucial role in crafting a warm, inviting atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring an elevated experience at every touchpoint.

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
  • Manage all reservation requests via phone, in person, email, and online platforms while efficiently handling booking systems.
  • Coordinate with managers to optimise table allocation, seating arrangements, and confirm reservations.
  • Maintain and manage wait lists during peak hours, providing accurate wait times to guests.
  • Ensure the entrance area and host station are clean, organised and presentable at all times.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years hospitality experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining establishment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving needs and challenges.
  • Experience with POS and reservation systems such as SevenRooms and Micros Simphony is highly advantageous.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain one.
