We are seeking a skilled Product Development Lead to drive the strategy and growth of our product portfolio. This role requires strong leadership skills, market knowledge, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategies for product offerings within the product category, including continuous research to grow market knowledge and develop market insights.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, features, and improvements, ensuring deployment and commercialisation of the offerings within the business.
- Product Roadmap: Oversee the definition, monitoring, and management of the life cycle roadmap for each product in the portfolio, ensuring current features are appropriately aligned to the product definition, market requirements, and evolving client needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, balancing resources to ensure success for the entire organisation.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product portfolio performance to ensure ongoing client and market relevance through engagement sessions with clients and sales representatives.
- At least 3 years' experience in portfolio & product management within the lighting industry.
- Experience in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven expert in managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
