Job Opportunity

An experienced Registered Nurse in a scrub/scout role supports orthopaedic procedures in a dedicated theatre team. The position requires providing safe and efficient care, collaborating with surgeons and anaesthetists, and maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing support for orthopaedic procedures
  • Maintaining safe theatre flow and patient care
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Participating in ongoing clinical education and quality improvement initiatives
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent perioperative nursing experience in orthopaedics, preferably in a private hospital setting
  • Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills
  • A calm approach to teamwork and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous learning and best practice, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations
