Mental Health Clinician – Aged Care (Psychologist, OT, or Social Worker)

We are seeking a Medicare-accredited mental health professional — Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker — to deliver short, targeted individual sessions and group programs for older adults in residential aged care.
About the Role:
- Provide brief (20–30 min) one-on-one consultations for mood disorders, adjustment, grief, and behavioural support.
- Facilitate group programs focused on mental wellbeing, resilience, and social engagement.
- Work under Medicare Mental Health Care Plan MBS items.
- Collaborate with GPs, nursing staff, and allied health to provide integrated care.
- Offer practical strategies to care staff to support resident wellbeing.
- Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- Registration with AHPRA (Clinical Psychologist / Occupational Therapist) or AASW accreditation (Mental Health Social Worker).
- Medicare provider status (Better Access & CDM item eligibility).
- Experience working with older adults or in aged care preferred.
- Excellent communication, rapport-building, and group facilitation skills.
- Permanent residency or Australian citizenship (essential for PRODA access).
