About the Job

This role will see you working closely with our Defence community, supporting their ICT requirements to enable them to protect Australia's interests.

We have a long history of delivering, supporting and maintaining systems for the Australian Defence Force across Army, Navy and Air Force.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure that projects produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.

  • Manages and leads people in the delivery of work packages or project stages in partnership with the customer and business unit to ensure acceptance, close down and handover to service
  • Defines the work package or project stage requirements and manages the agreement process of requirements and objectives
  • Ensures that formal review procedures are used
  • Manages the risks associated with the deliverables of the project or work package
  • Ensures that the impact on the business units' profit due to project activities within the scope of the project is clearly visible and that all contingency usage is signed off by the appropriate governance authority
  • Ensures own objectives are aligned to the Project or Program objectives
Your Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience working on Projects and 1+ years working as a Project Coordinator or customer service
  • A deep understanding of the Defence environment
  • Knowledge of Deskside projects
  • Proactive and organised approach
  • A current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance
