About the Role

As our new Project Coordinator, you'll work with the Jenarc team to deliver a range of exciting construction projects — from health clinics and housing to childcare centres and cultural infrastructure.

Your role spans the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion, and you'll be exposed to a wide variety of tasks that will set you up for success in the construction and project management world.

This role is hands-on, ever evolving and filled with opportunities to learn, contribute and grow.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Planning & Coordination

• Prepare project management plans and delivery programs
• Support delivery of monthly project requirements — including status reports, cost reports, delivery plans and meeting agendas
• Assist with contract administration, project reporting and risk tracking
• Represent the best interests of the client in all stages of project delivery
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors to drive outcomes

Procurement & Technical Involvement

• Prepare and coordinate tender documentation and manage RFIs
• Conduct tender evaluations and prepare recommendation briefs
• Be involved in value engineering, buildability reviews and design assessments
• Help identify opportunities to improve documentation, delivery and outcomes

Travel & Adventure

• Travel to some of the most remote and beautiful parts of Australia
• Visit project sites in communities and landscapes you may have never otherwise experienced
• Understand regional challenges firsthand and contribute to meaningful outcomes in rural and remote contexts

Teamwork & Support

• Work closely with the Jenarc team and senior project managers
• Participate in regular client and stakeholder meetings
• Be part of an environment where everyone's contribution matters
• Collaborate with and learn from experienced professionals
• Seek advice and explore solutions with the team when challenges arise

Who You Are (or Want to Be)

You might be a good fit if you:

• Hold or are currently studying toward a qualification in Construction or Design (degree, vocational, or trade-related)
• Are organised, proactive and a natural problem-solver
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Can juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines (with support)
• Are curious and collaborative, and happy to ask questions
• Familiar with project tools like Excel, MS Project, or similar (not essential, but helpful)
• Are open to learning, feedback and continuous improvement
