About the Role

Competitive hourly rate of up to $52.62, with opportunities for additional earnings through overtime. Full-time position with a schedule of 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team, primarily based in our workshop. This role involves servicing, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of various diesel-powered mobile equipment, including front-end loaders, tractors, Bobcats, and generators, along with some fixed machinery. While most tasks will be performed in the workshop, occasional travel may be necessary for on-site repairs and maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on vehicles and equipment. Performing repairs, replacements, and inspections on engine, steering, transmission, and braking systems. Carrying out preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment. Managing parts inventory and ensuring workshop cleanliness.

About Your Experience
We are looking for candidates with a relevant trade certificate in diesel or automotive mechanics. The ideal applicant will possess strong fault-finding skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety. Proficiency in computer systems, self-motivation, and reliability are essential, along with excellent time management and communication skills.

Candidates must be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. A HR license is preferred but not mandatory.
