Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kemps Creek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated logistic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities.
  • Investigate and resolve system material flow issues.
  • Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electricians and/or Trade qualified Mechanics.
  • Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution centre environment is strong preferred.
  • Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills.
  • Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
  • Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
  • Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.
  • Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Meets the physical fitness requirements including:
    • Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
    • Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE).
    • Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted.
