Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

As the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading the site's engineering team and ensuring the highest levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team and own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team, mentoring direct reports.
  • Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs, owning legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high-quality experienced staff, including support for Apprentice and Graduate programs.
  • Implement standards validated by the AU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required.
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties, and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
  • Work with Site Management, Finance, the AU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant experience in Engineering team leadership.
  • Employee and performance management experience.
  • Distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience.
  • Facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/2+ years of Amazon experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
