Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

As the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading the site's engineering team and ensuring the highest levels of equipment availability. This role requires a strong background in engineering team leadership, with experience in employee and performance management, as well as distribution or manufacturing field experience. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team and own the annual reporting responsibilities.
  • Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
  • Implement standards validated by the AU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties.
  • Work with Site Management, Finance, the AU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment roll outs.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in engineering team leadership.
  • Employee and performance management experience.
  • Distribution or manufacturing field experience with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
