The People and Talent Advisor will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across multiple teams. They will provide trusted guidance, interpret policies with clarity, and support leaders and team members through various HR and employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer advice and support to leaders and team members on HR policies, employee matters, and workplace issues.
- Manage employee relations cases, including investigations and reporting.
- Ensure practices comply with employment laws and immigration requirements.
- Handle core HR processes like parental leave, abandonment of employment, and other key HR matters.
- Respond to queries through our HR inbox, offering timely and professional support.
- Partner with managers to resolve people issues and support performance conversations.
- Guide and support People and Talent Coordinators to build consistency and capability.
- Help deliver onboarding and create a positive experience for new starters.
- Assist with people initiatives including performance reviews, engagement surveys, and learning programs.
- Contribute to HR projects and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- 3–5 years' experience in a HR Coordinator or Advisor role.
- Relevant degree or diploma in HR, Psychology, or Business.
- Strong understanding of employment law, including the Fair Work Act.
- Proven ability to manage ER cases and handle sensitive matters.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with HR systems and interpreting HR data.
- A solutions-focused mindset with strong time management skills.
