Project Officer - Emergency Management and Resilience

The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of emergency management plans and procedures. As part of this position, you will develop strategic initiatives to enhance community resilience, collaborating with stakeholders from various sectors.

You will work on implementing strategies to support disaster recovery, updating emergency management plans and procedures, and creating templates and documents to facilitate these efforts. Additionally, you will utilize your experience in project management to successfully create and activate community development programs and activities.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of a certificate qualification in emergency management, social sciences, or other relevant fields
  • Proven experience in a similar position with a demonstrated understanding of community development principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to navigate complex situations and achieve positive outcomes
