A successful Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide timely and efficient service, resolve queries professionally, and maintain open communication with the Guest Service Manager.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and efficient service to guests, resolving queries in a professional manner.
- Ensure a seamless reception experience for guests, including check-in, check-out, and audit procedures.
- Maintain open communication with the Guest Service Manager regarding guest feedback and departmental concerns.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times.
- Attend training courses as required and assist with team development efforts.
- Develop knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions to effectively perform daily duties.
- Maximize room occupancy and utilize up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Follow correct procedures when handling foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to the hotel credit policy.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Adhere to company brand standards and policies when using front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
- Assist other departments as needed.
To be successful as a Guest Service Agent, you will require:
