Therapy Specialist

The role of an occupational therapist is to help individuals with physical, cognitive or mental disabilities develop skills and abilities necessary for daily living and working.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths, weaknesses and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to clients including hands-on training and guidance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with clients families and caregivers to educate them on the benefits of occupational therapy and involve them in the treatment process
- Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of NDIS and paediatric experience preferred
- Full and unlimited working rights in Australia
This position involves working with children and young people in a variety of settings including client homes schools and community centers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a small supportive team.
