About the Role

The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking Registered Nurses/Midwives to join their team in various locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care.
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
  • Provide health education, counseling, and rehabilitation programs to improve health outcomes.
  • Support and guide newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other workers providing basic nursing care.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing person-centered nursing care.
  • Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads.
