Catering operations at Sydney Domestic Airport require a skilled and innovative leader to oversee a new team at The Great Northern Bar. This permanent, full-time role presents an excellent chance to showcase expertise in beverage management.

**The Role**

We are seeking a driven and charismatic leader who will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop and implement effective beverage strategies
  • Ensure seamless kitchen and front-of-house operations
  • Supervise and direct the team to meet key performance indicators
  • Manage stock ordering, rotation, merchandising, and inventory control
  • Adhere to high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleaning practices

**Key Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a bar or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, cellars, and beverage operations
  • Experience with rostering, budgeting, and people management
  • A sound understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and innovation
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Current RSA certification
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
